net.art Painters and Poets
The exhibition period: June 19. 2014 – August 31. 2014
net.art Painters and Poets is an exhibition of net.art at the City Art Gallery of Ljubljana.
The exhibition show a collection of significant artists working in this genre. Internet art are rarely seen or presented in a gallery space, for understandable reason, as it is an art form that takes place on the Internet and can easily be viewed from home. I believe, by exhibiting in the white cube format, it can be a way to bring a certain attention to this genre and it can receive a bigger understanding and the entitlement it deserves.
The exhibition is curated by Vuk Ćosić & Alenka Gregorič.
